 | Zeppelin and The Smashing Pumpkins, with her love for the mythical sounds of Gaelic. Many years and songs later, Lola Daydream emerged onto the Vancouver independent music scene with her own signature sound; an eclectic blend of dark, melodic folk with a progressive edge.

 | Lola Daydream's sound under one genre; creating the need for Lola Daydream to develop her own genre classification. After much deliberation Lola Daydream decided on the genre of Soft-Goth, to reflect her love of writing poignant lyrics and haunting, passionate melodies. |
